Order placement and first quality gate

Through its logistic support system (LBS), PPA receives a request to process a report such as an annual financial statement. The in-house team reviews the report on the basis of predefined parameters such as reporting year or currency. If the review calls for corrections, PPA makes revisions to the report in consultation with the client.

Analysis of report information using OCR and AI

A report passes through up to 16 levels of text recognition (optical character recognition [OCR]) to ensure the complete digitisation of all text elements. An AI-powered processing tool is used in this validation step.

Hybrid data extraction with AI and skilled editors

PPA relies on a mix of advanced technology and highly qualified personnel. Using proprietary PPA technology, clearly identifiable data is extracted automatically via artificial intelligence (AI). Segments too complex for AI to interpret are reviewed and edited manually by experienced and specially trained editors. This hybrid process, combining AI with expert oversight, defines PPA’s success. It ensures that all analysis-relevant data and facts in a report are identified and accurately extracted.

Guaranteed service quality

Typically, processed data is returned within a few hours or work days of receipt of a report. PPA emphasises on real-time processing. It aligns every step of the process with client requirements to ensure the ideal service level is met collaboratively.

Mapping to client-specific data requirements

Clients define the structure and content requirements for their data. PPA prepares the data precisely to match these specifications. It also provides support to clients in defining these requirements. Unless otherwise agreed, the company delivers raw data. On client requests, PPA offers categorised and pre-processed data, as well as calculates key figures.

Data delivery to defined interfaces

The final automated step entails the transfer of processed data to clients’ designated interface, complete with documentation. This data set serves as the foundation for further processing. PPA supports a wide range of proven interfaces that integrate seamlessly with many financial analysis systems used across the German financial sector.
